Brahmastra's 'Boycott trend' failed to stop the box office collection| Entered The Rs 200 crore club!


Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt staring, the fantasy action-adventure film ‘Brahmastra Part one: Shiva,’ has now Entered the Rs 200 crore club in worldwide collections within six days of its release.

Brahmastra' was one of the most awaited movies of the year and ever since its trailer was dropped, the fans had been waiting for it with much craze and excitement. The film, which has been released now, has lived up to its expectations as audiences have showered the film with much love and appreciation, which has also translated well at the box office. The film, which had a massive opening day, has not slowed much and was able to earn a decent amount on Wednesday.

According to Bollywood Hungama, the film earned somewhere between Rs 10.35 crore-11.35 crore on Wednesday, which takes its six-day collection to an impressive Rs 161 crore. While the movie is said to have earned a whopping Rs 142 crore in Hindi markets, It minted Rs 19 crore from southern states. The fantasy drama’s opening week will close at around Rs 170 crore, the highest any Bollywood movie has earned since the pandemic began.

According to box office India, the film earned 9.25 crore net on Wednesday, bringing its Hindi total to around 138 crores approx.

And going with these figures, it is expected that the film will have a strong second week too. The next weekend target for the film should be around Rs 35 crore, which if it manages to achieve, the movie will enter the Rs 200 crore club within just ten days of its theatrical release. 

The film 'Brahmastra' has been written and directed by 'Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani' famed filmmaker Ayan Mukerji and stars actor Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role. It also has a great supporting cast and includes names such as Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, and Nagarjuna, to name a few. The film's highlight is also a cameo appearance by Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who played the role of a scientist in the film.
