Tarey Bhir is a beautiful, cliff overlooking the lower ranges of Darjeeling and Kalimpong range of the Himalayas.
It is situated at a height of around 10,000 feet, located in a small hamlet near Sadam
The  mesmerizing beauty of the landscape at Tarey Bhir in addition to that a minimal number of tourists make it a worth visiting place

Reason to visit

It is a long walkway which gives a thrilling trek trip, those who love trekking, exploring this is the best place to stop by 
The scenic beauty is just jaw-dropping
The long pathway which goes downhill from there your walk begins, the whole pathway is built on top of a mountain that is covered with bottle green pines on one side and another side is covered by grasses, mosses, and small shrubs. It is Reminiscent of the great wall of china. The walkway leads you to the cliff offering a flying view of the surrounding Himalayan ranges.
You can also see the Kalimpong and Darjeeling hills from there, it also offers an amazing view of two rivers, i.e Teesta and Rangit, that flows through the valley below




You can start your journey from Namchi, a major town in South Sikkim, cabs are available from Namchi to Sadam.
The approximate distance is about 16km from Namchi, near a small village called sukhbarey


The thing you should avoid

Nature did its part and made the valley pure and admirable, and now it's our responsibility to handle it with care and not ruin its beauty so do not litter the area don't leave your garbage there, Keep the area clean.
Avoid plucking plants or flowers.
Also, wear appropriate walking or trekking shoes.

If you have a fear of height or you suffer from vertigo then this place might not a good idea for you
